2. Technical Wiring Diagrams (G3 Series)

Standard 4-Wire Installation

  • Red Wire: Constant Power (+12V / +24V)
  • Black Wire: Ground (-)
  • White Wire: Ignition Input (ACC) – Required for trip logic
  • Yellow Wire: Digital Output (Relay control for engine cut-off)

Note: Always use a 3A fuse on the Red wire to protect the device from power surges.

3. SMS Configuration Commands

To point your GoSafe device to a tracking server (Port 5078), send the following SMS commands from an authorized mobile number:

Step A: Set APN (Network Data)

Format: APN,password,APN_Name,User,Pass#
Example: APN,0000,internet,user,pass#
 

Step B: Set Server IP and Port

Format: IP,password,Server_IP,Port#
Example (Port 5078): IP,0000,193.193.165.165,5078#
 

Step C: Set Reporting Interval

Format: INTERVAL,password,Moving,Static#
Example: INTERVAL,0000,30,3600# (30s when moving, 1hr when stopped)
 

4. Advanced Troubleshooting

If the device is not appearing online, check the status using the following command:

STATUS,0000#

This will return the GPS fix status, GPRS connection state, and battery level.
